Protect Your Peace. Breathwork, Yoga & Meditation | Ep 51 | Fountain of Vitality
Dan de Luis spent two years in bed after a spine injury, medicated on opioids and walking with a cane, before a three-dollar breathing DVD changed everything. Two weeks after arriving at an ashram on that cane, he was playing volleyball with the yogis. That reset carried him out of a secure, thirteen-year career at 3M and into work with NHL players, NCAA athletes, and Canadian Special Forces, building a trauma release practice around one tool: the breath. In this episode of Fountain of Vitality, host LaMont Leavitt sits down with Dan de Luis, Founder and CEO of Dan de Luis Wellness, to unpack the breathwork and trauma release methods he has used with professional athletes, Special Forces units, and Royal Bank of Canada executives. Dan explains his self-awareness, self-control, and success formula, the difference between capabilities and capacity, and the sideline breathing exercise he has used to talk athletes through panic attacks mid-game. He also traces the philosophy behind the Abundance Breath Club: technology should serve people, not run them.
